Dance
Dance is a form of expression. At Studio 01 Dance Wetherill Park, our classes provide strength, agility, co-ordination and above all enjoyment. Studio 01’s students grow and develop as individuals while building confidence and agility through our dance classes.
Studio 01 features a one of it’s kind Boys Hip-hop class. Inspired by the latest top chart tracks, featuring dance video moves and tricks. For the ultimate hiphop experience come along and try out this amazing class.
Acro
Studio 01 Dances acro classes incorporate gymnastics, jazz, balancing and contortion. Students learn handstands, cartwheels, tumbling, stretch, arial tricks, various body stands and walkovers. Students are provided with fun classes that are active and energetic. Acrobatic skills and tricks are taught in a safe environment for all ages and levels aimed to benefit and improve the strength, flexibility, self confidence, teamwork and coordination.
Singing & Drama
Studio 01 Dance’s Singing and Drama classes involve variety of vocal warm ups, drama activities / games and script work. Choreography is taught when learning songs to assist in memory of lyrics. A vast array of genres are explored expanding students repertoire and musical experience.
Held once a year Arts Night is an evening showcasing our drama students. Performing in an intimate setting, students are given the opportunity to express their talent, vitality, imagination and creativity. The performances are created by the students and teachers during the year in class through the composition of written scripts, costume/set design sketch ideas and performance. Arts Night is also a platform for solo vocal artists to practise their stage craft in front of a live audience. Arts Night is an evening for songwriters, actors, scriptwriters, costume and prop designers to deliver their talent in a space that can be appreciated, viewed and enjoyed.
