Welcoming Sophia Calarco to our studio!

Sophia began her dance training with Dance NRG at age 9 in all styles. She went on to complete the Glenwood Tap syllabus and the BAL classical ballet syllabus. She continued her training throughout her High School education receiving call back nominations for each of her three (3) pieces submitted as part of her 2017 HSC Dance studies.

In 2018 Sophia completed her Certificate IV in Dance with Ettingshausens, working with mentors including Kelley Abbey, Cassie Bartho and Sophie Holloway. On completion of this course, Sophia was awarded a Scholarship to undertake full-time study in her 2019 Diploma of Dance with Ettingshausens.

During 2018 she also performed as a featured dancer in Rent the Music with the Ashfield Musical Society.

Sophia is passionate about teaching with a motivation to create an encouraging, challenging and supportive environment for her students. She loves watching her students grow and improve as they develop their personalities, confidence and performance skills.
